The GG2 Leadership & Diversity Awards in association with pladis recognise and reward high achievers within diverse groups and celebrates the very best of diversity in Britain.
The awards will be presented at the 27th annual GG2 Leadership & Diversity Awards on March 2026 in Central London.
Nominations are now open for the 2026 GG2 Leadership & Diversity Awards. Entries close on Friday, 20 February 2026.
Awarded for outstanding work in the media. The GG2 Young Journalist of the Year Award is open to all journalists aged 35 or under who has proved to be outstanding in print, digital, online, radio or television journalism. The winner is entitled to an optional work experience placement at the Daily Mail newspaper.
Awarded to an organisation (public or private sector) for championing diversity and inclusion in the workplace, making demonstrable progress in diversifying their talent pool and creating an inclusive working environment. Nominees must demonstrate inclusive recruitment, retention and promotion strategies and their impact within the organisation.
Presented to an advertising or marketing agency for its use of diverse role models and ethnic imagery in a creative media campaign that engages diverse audiences. Nominees must also demonstrate the use of diverse multi-media platforms which includes print and digital in how they reach ethnic communities.
Awarded to a local council or government department for outstanding work in putting diversity higher up the agenda, making demonstrable progress in diversifying their talent pool and creating an inclusive working environment. Nominees must demonstrate inclusive recruitment, retention and promotion strategies and their impact within the organisation. Nominees must also demonstrate how the organisation has engaged and reached out to diverse communities in the delivery and impact of its services.
Awarded to a professional law practice for championing diversity and inclusion in their workplace, making demonstrable progress in diversifying their talent pool and creating an inclusive working environment. Nominees must demonstrate inclusive recruitment, retention and promotion strategies and their impact within the organisation.

Nominees must demonstrate inclusive recruitment, retention and promotion strategies and their impact within the organisation.
Awarded to a police force for outstanding work in championing diversity, making demonstrable progress in diversifying their talent pool and creating an inclusive working environment. Nominees must demonstrate inclusive recruitment, retention and promotion strategies and their impact within the organisation. This category recognises students and early-career professionals in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics who are already making a meaningful impact at the start of their STEM journey. It celebrates individuals who combine technical excellence with a wider perspective, using their knowledge to create positive change beyond their immediate field. The award honours those whose curiosity, ambition, and values signal a promising future — both for STEM and for the world it serves.
